Stages Link, our service offered through a partnership with Today's Plan will be closing on March 12th, 2024 due to the closure of Today's Plan. 


A message from Today's Plan: 


After careful consideration and due to various circumstances, we regret to inform you that after 8 years in business, Today’s Plan will be ceasing its operations. Over the last 8 years, we’ve had the privilege of serving and being part of your journey. Your support and trust have meant everything to us.


Regrettably, due to many factors, operations will cease as of 12 March 2024. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the impact it may have on you. Please know this was an incredibly difficult choice, and we explored every possible avenue before reaching this conclusion.


However, amidst this closure, we want to ensure that your transition to another platform is as smooth as possible and that your data and information remain accessible to you, and we’ve taken steps to facilitate this transition seamlessly. Please refer to the FAQ section below.


Support: Our customer support team will remain available until February to assist you with any queries or concerns related to data access or the closure process. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@todaysplan.net.

FAQ

How can I get my data?

Data Access: You can retrieve your data stored on Stages Link by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Stages Link account and select your name in the top right corner.
  2. Select ‘Account’ from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select the download icon in the top right corner.
  4. Select ‘Activity files’. Other types of data can be retrieved by selecting any of the other categories. 
  5. You will be sent an email with a link to download your files. This email will also be available from the inbox within the website.


This link is only valid for 7 days. If the link has expired, you can request the Activity Files again.


How do I delete my Account?

You can delete your data and account by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Stages Link account and select your name in the top right corner.
  2. Select ‘Account’ from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the ‘Delete account’ button at the bottom of the page.
  4. Please note that deleted accounts cannot be recovered.


Will I have access to my account after 12 March 2024?

Unfortunately, after 12 March 2024, you can no longer access your Stages Link account. If you use the Stages Cycling app, your Stages Cycling app account will be unaffected, but your connection to Stages Link and accompanying analytics will no longer be active. See the section below (How will this affect the Stages Cycling app?) for more details on what data is used in Stages Cycling app. 


I have paid for a subscription. Can I get a refund?

Yes, all users on an annual subscription will be reimbursed for any remaining months of your subscription from the termination date, 12 March 2024. You do not need to apply, Today’s Plan/Stages Link will automatically reimburse you after 12 March.


Please ensure your credit card details are up to date.


For users on a monthly subscription, please ensure auto-renew has been switched off. To do this, select your name in the top right, select ‘services’ from the dropdown menu, and ensure the ‘auto-renew’ is not ticked under the subscription.


Will I lose my training history?

Your past training history and any other personal data stored on Stages Link can be exported in your account settings. To access your data, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Stages Link account and select your name in the top right corner.
  2. Select ‘Account’ from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select the download icon in the top right corner.
  4. Your workouts/training is located under ‘calendar workouts’.


Stages Cycling app users will still retain their activity files on Stages Cloud. We recommend if you use the app with Stages Link connected that you still export your user history and files so that any files missing from Stages Cloud are retained. 


How will this affect the Stages Cycling app?

Users who have paired the Stages Cycling app to their Stages Link account currently receive additional analytics powered by Today's Plan API. These features will end as of March 12th, 2024. Stages is working hard to replace those analytics and features within our app in future app updates. We will add updated information as it is available. 


Certain types of data are displayed in our app and sourced exclusively from Stages Link, so it's crucial that you export this data so that it is not lost. This includes:

  • Activities not uploaded via Stages Cycling app (i.e. recorded on your Dash or in the app)
  • Manually entered activities
  • Body metrics data that was not logged in the app
  • Courses and custom workouts in your Stages Link library


You will still be able to use all of our key features within our mobile app: 

  • Manage all your Stages devices
  • Store activity files on Stages Cloud and view them on the calendar
  • Upload rides from your Stages Dash and push to 3rd party services
  • Record indoor rides on the Ride page and push to 3rd party services
  • And many other additional features


You may experience a temporary loss in some features in the app while we work on updating these features to remove reliance on Stages Link. Please contact support@stages-link.com with any questions about the transition and how it might affect your Stages Cyclin app account.
